Presentation at the Japanese Association for Digital Humanities Conference

Editorial workflowElena Dergacheva and Susan Brown presented a paper ““Prospects and Pitfalls of Workflow Management in Born-digital Projects” as part of a panel of papers on the INKE project‘s work in collaboration with the Orlando Project and CWRC on a workflow visualization tool. The paper presented on the adaptation of the tool for the Orlando workflow and the results of testing it with members of the Orlando community. It concluded that there are specific challenges posed by born-digital as opposed to print-oriented or fixed text workflows. Co-authors on this project were Ruth Knechtel, Teresa Dobson, Ernesto Peña, Geoff G. Roeder, and the INKE Research Group.

Anyone interested in learning more can check out the prototype of the Workflow Orlando edition or view a video of the tool.
